Yuko Tsuruta

Yuko Tsuruta is a legal professional in Fashion Law with a legal degree from Japan and the United States. After finishing her legal studies at Keio University in Japan, she developed her expertise in Fashion Law at the Fashion Law Institute, the world’s first academic center dedicated to legal and business issues pertaining to the fashion industry. She is the first Japanese to obtain a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Fordham Law School in New York. She is fluent in Japanese and English but is also available for Korean and Spanish support.

As she also studied fashion design at Tokyo Mode Gakuen in Tokyo, fashion trends at Parsons, and advertising at the School of Visual Arts in New York,  she has a strong background in fashion, design, fashion marketing, and as a designer. She dedicates her work to helping and assisting start-up designers in both legal and business perspectives and in fashion law education in Japan.
